Inspired by the preservation of Bali and its sustainable luxury business practices, John Hardy’s artisan collective was founded in 1975 with a dedication to handcrafted jewelry. It began with Classic Chain®, a symbolic expression of connection that honors Bali’s jewelry-making traditions of communal handweaving. This value of togetherness soulfully evolves through inspired iterations of John Hardy’s most signature style. 


THE CLASSIC CHAIN

The Classic Chain symbolizes the grounding beauty of human connection. Each link is hand-woven by our team of Balinese women using centuries-old techniques. Together they create meaningful jewelry that feels soulful to wear, moving naturally with you each day. 


NAGA

The Naga dragon is a mythical creature of Balinese legend and protects its love, the precious pearl, at the depths of the sea. It's earthly elements are brought to life by hand and imbued with meaning: when worn outwards as a symbol of protection, or inwards as a token of love.
