Inspired by critters of the deep sea, and built from ocean bound plastic that used to threaten them, this all new Sea Creature from Shinola is living proof that single-use plastics can and should have a second life. The watch’s case and strap are crafted from #tide ocean material® granules and yarn, made from 100% ocean-bound plastic waste. The 40mm case features a blue wave dial, orange accented indexes with blue SuperLumi-Nova and a unidirectional, rippled ocean plastic dive bezel. The high-accuracy, Argonite 715 quartz movement is hand assembled in Detroit and features a date window at 3 o'clock. The #tide ocean material® band secures with a buckle clasp and the watch is water-resistant to 100 meters.
