The watch features a yacht timer for the countdown at the start of a sailing race. When horns signal the start of the countdown, a skipper starts the yacht timer and, using the five minute increments, can sail across the starting line at speed just as the starting gun sounds. The Shinola Mackinac features a unique 40mm square stainless steel case with a see-through case back that showcases the automatic SW511.bhc movement. The canary yellow dial pops with orange and red details and contrasts with the tri-tone blue yacht timer subdial. The yellow rubber strap secures with a buckle clasp and the watch is water resistant to 100 meters.
