Black Zirconium is a durable, lightweight, and hypoallergenic metal. It undergoes a heating process that creates its distinctive black finish, that does not require replating or polishing as its dark color is permanent. To maintain the appearance of your Black Zirconium band, avoid exposing it to harsh chemicals, including chlorine and bleach. Clean with mild soap and water, and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth. While Black Zirconium is scratch-resistant, it is not scratch-proof. Normal wear and tear may result in minor surface scratches over time. Black Zirconium is highly durable and resistant to corrosion. However, excessive force or impact may cause damage.
Due to the unique pattern of each fossil, each inlay/sleeve will be unique. Colors are a result of the natural minerals present in the soil during fossilization. It is recommended to clean the ring with mild soap and water. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners or harsh chemicals that could affect the integrity of the dinosaur shard. The dinosaur shard in this ring may be more fragile than traditional gemstones. Care should be taken to avoid impacts, pressure, or exposure to harsh chemicals that could damage the material.
