Necklace Lengths
From short chokers to long pendants, necklace length can dramatically change the style of your jewelry. When choosing a necklace, think about how and where you’ll wear it. Are you choosing a comfortable chain necklace for everyday wear? Do you want evenly-spaced necklaces for a trendy layered look? Or do you need a pendant that sits perfectly above the neckline of a dressy look?
Ring Sizes
Every time you buy a new ring, especially for stacked styles across multiple fingers, it’s a good idea to check your ring measurements. Too tight and a ring is uncomfortable to wear, and too loose your ring might slide right off! Ring Resizing
After years of love and wear, jewelry like wedding rings, engagement rings, or heirloom rings may not fit quite like it used to. A too small or too large ring is not only uncomfortable to wear, there’s also more risk that your ring could get damaged or lost. How to Measure for Bracelets
Just like with rings, accurate measurements make sure the bracelets your wear are comfortable and stay in place. To measure, first wrap a strip of paper or string around your wrist. Then adjust the length so you can fit two fingers between the wrap and your wrist for a comfortable fit. Fit one finger behind the bracelet for a tighter fit. Mark where the ends meet and use this as your bracelet length. If you aren’t 100% on your measurements, use bracelet you already own as reference or ask to try on different styles and sizes at your Jared store.
How to Choose your Watch Size
Just like with bracelets, when choosing a watch size you can use the paper or string method to get your measurements for a watch band. Men’s watch band lengths typically ranges from 6.5 inches to 9.5 inches, while women’s watch band length range from 5.5 inches to 8 inches. Leather, fabric, and silicone bands will be easier to adjust in size, but if you need to resize a metal cuff or link style you may need the help of a jewelry professional.
Anklet Sizing
Choosing the right anklet size is all about finding a good balance between comfort and style. While anklet chains come in a variety of lengths, the most common sizes you will find are 9-inch and 10-inch styles. To measure your anklet size, measure your ankle with a string or paper and leave room for a finger or two. You want your anklet to feel secure, but not constricting. Then it’s all down to style, whether you want a simple chain or anklet styles with charms and sparkling gemstones.
