The main inspiration behind the collection is undoubtedly the diamonds themselves. We wanted to create a collection that focused on both the beauty and rarity of the individual stones. Each jewel is unique; even if two diamonds look alike, their natural characteristics inherently indicate they aren’t the same. This translates to the jewelry pieces – no two pieces are identical because there will always be variability in the stones, however slight. For this Jared Atelier collection, we took an unusual approach by starting with the precious gemstones as opposed to starting with an outside inspiration, so every piece was designed for the specific diamonds it contains.
